**Job description**

Due to continuous growth, JCICARE SUPPORT SERVICES is seeking to employ suitable, reliable Mental health Support Workers to join our growing team in South Brisbane. Our participants require only the best So, if you are reliable, compassionate, patient and committed to making a difference, then this position is for you. As a member of our team, you will be working with SIL clients, and you should be comfortable with working in a challenging environment and adapting to changing circumstances.

Our company provides in-home care and community access services to clients with disabilities and complex mental health diagnoses who live independently or in supported accommodation settings.

We offer 24/7 support to our clients, which includes weekday, evening, weekends, sleepovers, and/or active night shifts

Previous experience working within the Mental health sector is highly advantageous.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Provide high quality personal care and put participants first, in accordance with their care plan.
- Support complex behaviors in the home and in the community.
- Support participants in everyday life and domestic activities (i.e. shopping, housework, washing etc.).
- Assist customers in health management through the provision of required supports (i.e. personal cares)
- Enable customers to achieve personal goals and engage in the community.

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**

Hold a current Cpr and first aid certificate
NDIS workers screening or yellow card and blue Cards
Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
Have relevant Mental health support work experience
MUST have a current drivers licence, Roadworthy & Fully Insured Vehicle and a Willingness to Use Own Vehicle to Transport Participants.

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time

**Salary**: $32.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Logan City, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
