We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Management team at our upcoming new Lotus Dumpling Bar in Sydney CBD. This is a hands-on position for someone who loves creating memorable dining experiences. You really have to be on top of your game, quick on your feet, have sound product knowledge and have honed your hospitality skills over some years. If you enjoy dynamic services, then we are what you’re looking for.

**Required skills;**
- Minimum two years’ experience as an Assistant Manager in a fast paced restaurant
- Manage front of house operations
- Working product knowledge of all food and beverage and the ability to impart knowledge to staff
- Effectively manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
- Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensure all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security
- Assist in new menu promotions and marketing drives
- Build longstanding relationships with guests & staff
- Self-motivated and exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Conduct staff training sessions and daily briefings
- Able to work weekends and nights - restaurant open 7 days lunch and dinner
- Confident and vivacious

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
