About the role

This is an exciting opportunity within our Northern Tasmanian Network. As a member of the Becks Mitre10 leadership team, you will provide guidance to the trade teams throughout the group, whilst developing and managing relationships with the trade customer and supplier networks to deliver superior customer outcomes and grow sales.

This is an opportunity to forge your career and create a strong industry profile with local status and industry regard as well as being part of a larger Independent Hardware community within a business that has a very positive view of the future.

A high level of verbal and written communications, exceptional presentation skills and strong analytical ability are critical pre-requisites in this role.

Experience in the hardware or building materials industry will be highly regarded.

- Achievement of sales targets
- Maximise sales, minimise costs
- Providing leadership to your team
- Analysis of sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
- Create an environment that promotes individual growth and development for our employees.

What you will bring
- Outstanding ability to develop relationships, maintain confidence and strongly influence decision-making.
- Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities to enable business partners to maximise their opportunities.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Hardware market with previous experience in Timber, Plumbing and Building materials.
- Previous experience in sales and business planning
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential for this role.
- An ability to understand financials and strong business acumen.
