*Please attach a resume and cover letter to be considered for this role* 4 Paws Pet Care has exciting new job opportunities for those looking to start or continue their career in the pet industry. 4 Paws an established business with a doggy daycare/dog school located in Corrimal, catering for all dog types and sizes. We provide dog day care with pick up and drop off, training, dog walking and pet sitting. MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: - Meeting and greeting dogs and owners at pick up and drop off times. - Carrying out day to day office administration duties. - Supervise, control and management of dogs to ensure safe levels of play and minimising stress levels in playgroup. - Interacting with dogs in playgroups to provide basic training and enrichment activities. - Following basic training protocols for training sessions. - Ensuring client satisfaction through excellent customer service. - Maintaining a clean work and safe work place - Ensuring the dog's wellbeing and environment are maintained at the highest standard. - Other tasks as directed. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Current drivers license - Physically able to walk around a pen, standing for long periods of time and handle large dogs - Great at time management - Excellent verbal communication - Very confident around all sizes of dogs - Must have an understanding of safety and overall dog care - An understanding of dog body language - Be passionate about working with dogs - Ability to work in independently and as a team - Self motivated, independent worker with a gentle, kind nature when handling dogs. - Proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things. - A "go-getter' attitude who can bring exciting new ideas to the team. JOB TYPE: Part-time SCHEDULE: Tuesday to Thursday approx. 9am-6pm Trial beforehand for successful applicant - Must attached cover letter **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 24 per week **Salary**: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - No weekends Application Question(s): - Do you have strong opinions on dog training methods and tools?
