**The role**

Opportunities exist for a Chemistry Analyst (Level IV - Instrumental Chemistry) at our North Melbourne site. You will be will be responsible for conducting routine sample preparation and food testing. You will also conduct a wide range of tests using HPLC,GC,GCMS,LCMS etc.
- Authorise releasing of results
- Assisting with routine calibration and maintenance of instruments
- Interpreting test results and performing calculations
- Trouble shooting on instruments and method execution

**What’s needed?**

Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or related discipline
- Experience in Instrumental techniques is essential; experience in Labware/LIMS desirable
- Experience in HPLC,GC, GCMS or LCMS
- Experience in pesticide testing is desirable and will be looked at favourably.
- Ability to conduct complex sample preparation.
- Understanding the principle of Chemistry and Instrumentation, capable of basic troubleshooting and problem solving
