Lead Barista

Groundswell is a drive thru café, coffee roasting, and bean to bar chocolate making space. Our coffee is roasted on a wood fired Trabattoni coffee roaster. We strive for excellence in every brew, using a lever coffee machine and serving local guernsey dairy milk.

We are seeking a customer focused and knowledgeable **head barista**. You will be passionate about coffee, thrive on early mornings, energise a team, maintain customer focus, and desire to learn about coffee roasting. You will be keen to take on management responsibilities as the business grows.

You will possess:

- Advanced coffee making skills, including latte art and an ability to taste and critique espresso and filter brew methods.
- Calm leadership style able to de-escalate the hectic moments of the day.
- Keep a customer focus while making great coffee
- Team leadership and communication skills during a busy day.
