Bolton Clarke is Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit aged care provider shaping the future of positive ageing. We are currently hiring Domestic Assistants across the Brisbane Metro North region. It is a requirement for our community care roles all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes.

**About the role**
Our Domestic Assistant's provide assistance to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.

These include:

- Meal preparation, bed making, dusting and wiping, spot cleaning of customer homes including but not limited to cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, cleaning toilets, cleaning windows, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floor
- Ability to identify and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to your team leader.
- Communicate in a timely, appropriate and effective manner that is conducive to effective teamwork with colleagues
- Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Occasionally transporting clients for outings / appointments / shopping and respite.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Experience**in Aged Care or similar field i.e. Cleaning/ Housekeeping
- Availability to work various shifts across various days including Mondays and Fridays
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
- Up to date influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
- Australian drivers licence
- Own reliable vehicle for work use
