Australian Workforce is a leading national recruitment company. We are looking for **Assistant Warehouse Manager in Dandenong Victoria** to start ASAP

Working hours**:Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm**

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage operations including team workload, pick/pack, stock control.
- Supervise and lead a team of 5, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and job satisfaction.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, warehouse hours, and inventory levels to ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation.
- Conduct weekly inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report any stock issues to appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist with deliveries or order picking in the warehouse as required to meet operational demands.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Forklift certification and experience with order picking is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, with a focus on supervising and leading teams.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
- Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
