GV Independent Packers Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business since 1948, with over 1,500 acres of orchards within the Goulburn Valley region producing a range of apples, pears and stonefruits for supply to the national market and for export. Our company oversees the entire journey of our produce, from production, storage, packing, marketing, and transportation.

GV Independent Packers Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time licensed Mobile Plant Operator on our site in Shepparton, Victoria 3630. The salary offered is $76,515 per annum plus superannuation.

**Job duties and responsibilities include**:

- Prepares and positions plant for operation.
- Operates tractor-drawn and self-propelled plant to plough land and sow, fertilize, cultivate and harvest crops and avoid damaging crops.
- Adjusts speed, height, and depth of implements.
- Keeps log tallies and writes work reports.
- Services plant and performs minor repairs.

**The applicants will have the following skills and experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a certificate III in rural machinery operations is preferred.
- Have excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous farming or horticulture experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $76,515.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
