**Role Responsibilities**:

- Take orders accurately and provide customers with product information
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly reports tracking Customer, Item, or Sales
- Assist with inbound customer database
- Manage, develop and continuously improve the company’s database (Sage). Maintaining / updating database system with backups, updating documentation, policies & procedures
- Testing programs within database/database management - diagnosing, tracking, logging and resolving issues, testing current programs in place, and testing upgrades in system for bugs
- Investigation updates on any troubleshooting programs within the database
- Resolve customer issues and complaints while demonstrating understanding and empathy
- Provide invoices to customers in a timely manner
- Liaise with customers to identify substitute products (daily backorders)
- Seek regular feedback on how processes and systems can be improved and develop pro-active solutions to problems
- Data entry
- General pricing
- Train team members to respond to and resolve customer queries and complaints
- Communicating with other suppliers, systems practice service providers and external parties; analyse, diagnose, install and maintain a database system
- Assist logistics team in adhoc duties including software management to track deliveries
- Takes initiative in ad-hoc downtime tasks during quiet periods
- Assist & conduct with credit investigations
- Work in the sales support team to resolve problems and work with sales reps
- Updating 3pty platforms with current certificates & frequent auditing (HACCP, Food Authority)
- Liaise with sales, Q.A & WSH, production, transport & warehouse teams; providing relevant information for fulfillment of customer orders/enquiries
- Provide effective communication to customers and staff (internally & externally)
- Perform other ad-hoc projects and administrative duties
- Attend training sessions relating to systems, products, and processes

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous customer service experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving
- Strong leadership skills

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Previous experience providing outstanding customer care support including leading a team
- Food and Beverage FMCG background
- Experience and passion for leading a successful and customer focused-team
- Proven experience in driving and implementing continuous improvements to meet operational needs
- Extensive computer knowledge
- A great listener and communicator who can build relationships with ease, quickly developing rapport and influence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
