**About the opportunity**:
We are currently looking for a Process Operator/Bakery Assistant to join our Hobart site. The successful applicant will report to the Team Leader and be an integral member of the Production team. The Process Operator/Bakery Assistant will be required to optimise resource use, ensure production targets are met, ensure all compliance procedures are followed and to ensure all health and safety processes are followed while carrying out a variety of tasks in the processing areas and to support the production team develop the Manufacturing function towards World Class standards

**The shift patterns available**:
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Variable start times from 3.30am - 7.00am working a total of 9.5 hours per day

**You will be responsible for**:

- Full compliance of company rules
- Operations of machinery and equipment as per safe operating procedures
- Effectively move between departments to assist
- Achieve OEE and Waste on target
- Active involvement in, and attendance at departmental meetings
- Complete Quality Assurance and Food safety Induction and Competency quality assessment. Attend all relevant training programs
- Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames
- Executes Start up procedure and machine/equipment set ups, operational processes and cleaning processes correctly
- Ensure personal hygiene and uniform company policies, site minimum expectations and standards are strictly adhered to

**To be successful in this role you will need to**:

- Experience in machine operation/process work
- Effective oral and written communication
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Health and Safety awareness
- Quality awareness
- Previous food industry experience is desirable
