**Pay rate** **(per hour)** $27.00 to $36.00

Our core values are built around providing the best possible experiences for our children, which lead to discovery and learning in the Out of School Hours Care setting.

**The Service - St Phillip's College **in **Cessnock**

**Monday to Friday***

**ASC **(after school care) Start 2:30 **pm** Finish 5:30 **pm**

**Days required per week - **we are looking for someone who can work 3 to 5 days per week. Someone preferrably with experience.

**Overview**: As an **Assistant **you will be in partnership with your Coordinator to help create a safe and caring environment where children want to come to play, learn and discover It is a hands-on, engaging role, where interaction and play are part of your day. Your contribution of ideas, energy and fun are an investment in helping make your Service the best it can be, and the best Educators take the time to build ongoing relationships with the Children, their Parents, and the school. You will assist in the preparation and serving of a range of healthy snacks. There are also great opportunities to for you to grow and learn as well. We encourage cross-training at our other local Services to expand your knowledge and experience base.

**What we are looking for in an Assistant**
- ** Someone who has had experience in the Childcare sector**

**Or**
- ** Is studying towards an Educational degree, or, already has..**:

- ** A Diploma or Certificate in Childcare, Early Childhood Education, Children Services or similar***

**Certificates required (please note some courses / certificates below require payment)**
- HLTAID012 (First Aid CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis)
- Covid -19 Vaccination (proof of)
- WWCC - Working with Children Check
- Child Protection (2 components)
