**$72,000** annual salary + non-monetary remuneration of **$8000** + **super, and loading**.

We are seeking a Holy Tao Minister to join our Cultural & Educational Foundation, which is a non-for-profit organization. Taoism is an ancient, spiritual Chinese religion, and our mission is to expound and propagate the principles and teaching of this tradition in Victoria.

**Key Role**:
Assist local team member to operate at high quality level for their commitments, mission and managing communication assignments and research.

Perform coordination role and develop a team member to support the delivery of major holy preaching seminars.

Lead a team of spiritual guidance for compassion and train volunteers to response quickly to appropriate spiritual guidance or counselling needs.

Support administration tasks as required.

Train team leadership for event management activities in order to deliver high quality for major holy seminars.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Preparing and conducting services of Tao for public worship and organise holy seminars.

Preparing and delivering presentations for Tao preachment and planning diverse interpreter’s services.

Conducting holy classes of Tao religious instruction, supervising prayer, meditation sessions and discussion groups, leading sutra chanting session periodically, retreats and major holy preaching seminars for Tao religious advancement.

Performing marriages, funerals and special memorial services if required or requested by the Tao religion community.

Researching and preparing for Tao material preachment and support youth class program and promote vegetarianism.

Leading a team and recruiting of people by providing compassionate and spiritual guidance for the Tao cultivators, and family counseling on behalf of the temple if required and requested.

Training and developing a team committed to prayer and worship support for other ministry staff.

Organising meetings, major events and functions including catering under the direction of the Senior Master.

Maintaining and controlling budgets and expenses related to the major events.

Taking full responsibility for managing tasks and contributors.

**Requirements**:
1. Be able to live a monastic life at our organization.

2. Be Proficient in Chinese with a solid foundation in theology and be familiar with Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism teachings.

3. Be Familiar with the practice method of Tao events.

4. Have a bachelor’s degree in Minister of Religion or equivalent training program for at least five years and must gain at least two years placement of voluntary work experience in your local country or in a foreign country.

5. Be able to speak Mandarin speaking fluently is mandatory, knowing other languages such as English is extra bonus.

6. 5+ years’ experience in Tao practice.

7. Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

8. Software Requirements: Microsoft Office, Adobe, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
