**The Role**
BGIS are seeking a Locksmith /Handyperson, to contribute to the day-to-day operations and maintenance for a key client.
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an **Australian Citizen.**
This role is based in **Craigieburn, VIC**
- Carry out Preventative and Reactive security door maintenance duties as instructed
- Respond to urgent security door issues
- Installation, adjustments and repairs of internal locks to the site
- Advise on security matters where appropriate
- Should be familiar with restricted keying systems and with knowledge of Bi-Lock Exclusive security locking system
- Liaise with Facilities Maintenance Managers to efficiently carry out the tasks and services
- Conduct work activities in accordance with proper procedures, equipment, and training
- Complete daily Inspections and report writing
**Skills & Experience**
- Locksmith Qualification
- Proven track record working unsupervised as well as a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- WHS Construction White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Australian Citizenship
- Comfortable ability to utilise a work laptop/phone
- Handyman Experience in Carpentry & General Repairs (desirable)
