The Grumpy Baker is looking for a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to help keep our bakery clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role is crucial in maintaining a hygienic environment, especially in a setting where flour and other baking ingredients can easily spread.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Thoroughly clean bakery work areas, including benches, floors, equipment, and storage spaces
- Regularly remove flour dust and residue from surfaces, machinery, and corners where it can accumulate
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors to reduce slipping hazards caused by flour and food debris
- Clean ovens, mixers, and other baking equipment (exterior only) as required
- Empty bins and manage waste and recycling according to food safety guidelines
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists and food hygiene standards
- Refill cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues

**What We're Looking For**:

- Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with flour and fine powders
- Experience in cleaning commercial kitchens or bakeries preferred but not required
- Good physical stamina and the ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
