This organisation is a well-known not for profit in Perth CBD that supports a wide network within the Western Australian community. Providing a variety of mental health services, this organisation has an established multidisciplinary team.

**Your new role**

As the Counsellor you will be a key member of the clinical team offering counselling services to a varied case load. You will support adults, children, young people, and groups as they manager stress, transition issues, living losses and bereavement.

Key responsibilities include:

- Complete psychosocial assessment to develop counselling plans
- Working within a counselling framework developed specifically for the role
- Provide individual, group, family, and relationship counselling services
- Advocate for clients and their families
- Provide support through, face to face, web based and over the phone

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to succeed in this role you will have proven experience delivering trauma informed counselling services. Working within a team environment your previous experience working along other allied health professionals will be advantageous.

Key requirements include:

- Qualification in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work including registration with the relevant professional body
- Proven experience in a counselling role within Australia
- Ability to maintain accurate records and complete reports
- Able to work from a trauma informed practice model
- Effectively manage time, calendar and documentation to meet service delivery standards
- Current WA driver's licence
- Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check

**What you'll get in return**

In return for your commitment to this role you will be paid an excellent salary package of $85,000 - $91,000 + Super + 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading. Additionally, they also offer 2 wellness days a year.
