Scuba Diving Instructor and Equipment Specialist

Perth Diving Academy Hillarys PTY LTD are looking for a Professional Scuba Diving Instructor and Equipment Specialist to join our fun-loving team.

You must have, or be willing to obtain a Working with Childrens card.

This position is a full-time casual job, due to the nature of the work and the weather. During high season you will work more hours than low season.

Average Salary: AUD70,000 + Overtime (if applicable)
Perth Diving Academy (PDA) is Western Australia’s premier scuba diving organisation.

The emphasis at PDA has always been towards quality of instruction and service. In order to achieve these goals, PDA offers a complete and concise training outlet at Hillarys Marina. This facility has indoor heated pools and classrooms for diver instruction. Our house reef is a short walk from the store.

PDA owns and operates the 12m surveyed dive charter vessel ‘Wildcat’, departing from Hillarys Marina for single dives in the Marmion Marine Park.

Full retail sales and servicing are available for most brands of equipment. The retail sale area is one of the busiest in Australia and we also have a full-time service bay that caters to the servicing of equipment from all over WA.

PDA is located on the northern side of the Hillarys Marina Complex alongside The Western Australian Fisheries and Marine Research Laboratories.

PDA was first established in 1978 primarily to teach scuba diving. The result of over 40 years of development is Australia’s most advanced diver training establishment offering a complete range of courses from entry level to instructor as well as dive travel, servicing and retail sales.
