Afterschool Care

**Our Family**:

- We're a fun, busy family with three awesome girls aged 5, 7, and 9. They're close in age and get along really well, most of the time They love being active, playing games, getting creative with craft, and generally making the most of their afternoons. Both parents work full time in the city, so we're sometimes open to extra hours here and there. We're a sporty family, all members of the local surf club, and we love the beach and being outdoors. We also enjoy riding bikes and scooters. We live right near the netball courts and the path to the beach, which means there's plenty of space for the kids to play and explore. But we also enjoy quieter moments, as we're all into reading and playing music. We're looking for someone warm, capable, and happy to jump in wherever needed, someone who genuinely enjoys being around kids and feels like part of the team.

**Your Duties**:

- *Hours are 3pm-6:30pm *Pick up our 5-year-old from preschool in Manly at 3:00pm *Be home by 3:20/3:30pm to meet our 7 and 9-year-olds who walk home from school *Walk the kids to nearby after-school activities (all within 300m of home) *Help with homework and reading *Support the kids in getting ready for bed (showers, pyjamas, etc.) *Heat up and serve dinner (meals will mostly be pre-cooked) *Light tidying up - e.g. unpacking school bags with the kids, putting dishes in the dishwasher We're looking for someone who can keep things running smoothly and help create a calm, happy end to the day.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We're after someone who's relaxed, reliable, and good with kids - especially someone comfortable juggling the needs of three kids at once. Someone who's happy to take charge when needed, is happy to get involved and play, and help out with the usual after-school stuff like reading, dinner, and a bit of tidying up. Ideally, you're someone mature - whether in age or just in attitude - who's calm, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. It's important to us that you're happy to go screen-free with the kids and can help make the afternoons feel easy and enjoyable. If you're the kind of person who just gets stuck in and feels at home in a family setting, we'd love to hear from you.
