**Building Associate**

We are local manufacture of Granny Flats, Mobile Homes and Relocatable Site Offices. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Associate to join our team based in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne Victoria, and support our ongoing growth and operations.

**About the Role**:

**Key Responsibilities/ Tasks**
- Manage the production and installation of houses and granny flats and company projects
- Ensure suitability of site for installation through survey and site visits.
- Liase with various stakeholders (eg council ) to ensure construction /regulatory compliance.
- Liase with production/ manufacturing to ensure production according to quality cost and timeline specifications.
- Coordinate site works ( materials, machinery and manpower etc ) for the installation according to company quality and building specifications.
- Manage the Land and Site Survey
- Ensure cost is kept withing budget
- Post installation customer satisfaction.
- Proven hands-on experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational planning, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience in Site/Land Surveying
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable as well as having good appreciation of working with stakeholders of multi-cultural backgrounds
- some legal and administrative knowledge/ experience related to construction and business law
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent inter personal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in relevant field
- Several years Relevant experience in building/ construction/ surveying industry
- Legal or law-related background is an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
