**The Role**

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed-term position working approximately three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). The role will travel to all campuses, Toorak and Richmond and will be covering leave from 27 January to 10 July 2026 (Terms 1 and 2).

Key Areas:

- ** Expertise in French Horn performance**with the ability to teach students from beginner to intermediate levels.
- ** Strong communication and interpersonal skills**, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- ** Experience in individual and small group instrumental instruction** within a school setting.
- ** Organisational skills** to manage a rotating timetable across multiple campuses.
- Assist with **ensemble rehearsals** before and after school.

**About You**

With a robust background in music education and a degree in education or tertiary music, you are familiar AMEB and VCE syllabi.

Throughout your career, you have demonstrated a strong capability to work with students of varying ages and skill level. Your experience has honed your performance skills, in engaging and motivating students effectively.
