About Us
We’re currently in search of a hands on Area Manager to onboard, train and lead our teams across NSW.
Slim’s Quality Burger offers fresh, made to order burgers, hand cut chips and decadent ice cream that is churned on site daily. The venues are bright and bold with an open kitchen that highlights the freshness of our products and our attention to detail. Our Area Manager will have the pleasure of being involved in them all.
As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for all areas of operation in the fast-paced environments that are our restaurants. Our performance metrics are all fairly common and our expectation is you already know how to run a profitable business. What we truly need from you is a willingness and desire to guide and mentor our team to be their best. Every role within our restaurant is the most important role and the Area Manager should know how to draw the best out of the people in our team. They should know that hospitality is all about people first and product second, so making connections with our customers and our team is the number one priority.
Whilst this is an incredibly hands-on position that requires you to roll up your sleeves, we want you to build our teams up rather than carry them. You will be involved in restaurant openings, coaching leaders and crew to develop high performing teams, filling gaps in times of need and collaborating with us to improve systems and processes.
We’ll provide you with all the tools and systems to smoothly operate the region, which will give you the time to develop our team for growth. We have many more locations set to open over the next twelve months and the team is expanding quickly. Our hopes and expectations are that you build a solid team and grow within our group beyond the Area Manager role as soon as possible.
If you’re interested in Slim’s Quality Burger, please bring with you:
- Experience as a Restaurant OR Area Manager in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional management and mentoring skills
- The ability to lead and motivate a diverse teamStrong business acumen, focussed on KPI performance and profitability
- High-level customer service with the ability to turn a negative into a positive
- Complete understanding of regulatory compliance across food & beverage
- Overwhelming desire to grow within a company
- Great attitude and the need to have fun
