We are currently looking to recruit **Support Workers** **(Full-Time — Permanent)** to provide Home Care Services to our clients in Canberra ACT for **Morning and Evening Shifts**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be rostered to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- You will be paid for mileage travelled while you work.
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, assistance with personal hygiene, light housekeeping duties, cooking, and meal preparation.
- Monitoring their overall well-being and escalating to our Registered Nurses and management, where necessary.
- Attending appointments with clients where necessary and providing transportation.
- Facilitating physical, recreational, social, and educational activities.
- Compile and report all accidents/incidents and hazards to management.
- Responsible for the safe management of all equipment in line with policies and procedures.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written skills.
- Commitment and willingness to participate in continuing training and education.

**Skills, Experience**, **and Qualifications**:

- Dementia Care experience is highly recommended.
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care/Disability/Individual Support
- Must have a current unrestricted driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (Staff are paid mileage for each service provided) (required)
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Current Criminal Record Check or willingness to undergo a National Criminal Record Check
- NDIS Clearance Check (required)
- Covid
- 19 training
- Fully vaccinated

**Salary**: Up to $54,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
