Fitter and Turner

We have an engineering component that supplies all aspects of works from manual and CNC machining to welding and fabrication expertise to our external stakeholders.

We are seeking trade qualified experienced Machinists to join our friendly team in jobbing and manufacturing workshop. The work is interesting and varied custom work.

We are in Archerfield, servicing a nationwide client base from various industries.

The successful applicant should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and would meet the following requirements.
- Trade qualified Machinist with post trade experience.
- The ability to operate a selection of machines such as lathes, borer and mills.
- MUST be able to interpret engineering drawings
- A focus on quality and efficiency on a daily basis.
- Ability to perform in a team environment and also autonomously.
- A strong focus on workplace safety and quality
- Maintaining QA and production records as appropriate.
- Being involved in ongoing improvements and learning.
- Driver's license and own transport

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Archerfield, QLD 4108: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Turning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
