**The Village Retirement Group **is an award-winning business dedicated to designing and managing quality retirement villages for those aged over 65 across Brisbane Suburbs. Our villages are characterised by a combination of superb accommodation and social facilities, which provide a wonderful lifestyle and community atmosphere for residents. **We are a family based business with over 2,000 residents calling our villages home. **We pride ourselves on the calibre of staff we employ within the group and highly value our team who will share their vision for the future.

**The Role**:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Village Managers to lead our thriving community of seniors

Our Village Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the community, from day-to-day operations to long-term strategic planning. As a leader in the community, the Village Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming, and comfortable environment for staff and residents. You will become the go-to person for our residents, their families and staff and will possess excellent communication skills.

You will ensure that residents have the best possible experience, and all staff provide the high level of service we expect.

As Village Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Manager who will provide guidance and support to you in achieving outstanding results for the villages and our Group Facility Asset Manager will assist you in the management of the asset.

Your ability to bring the best out in your team will ensure orientations, inductions and performance reviews are positive experiences for all. Your ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated to achieve KPIs, and your financial acumen are essential in managing the annual village budget.

**About You**:
As our new Village Manager, you will have a strong track record of success in managing retirement communities, with a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges facing seniors. Your resilient nature will see you carry out your duties in an engaging and energetic manner with a focus on resident satisfaction and compliance with all procedures and policies in a busy and vibrant village.

To join our vibrant teams you will have prior experience managing a successful retirement village community and be able to demonstrate an ability to build successful relationships with residents, colleagues and other stakeholders.

You will have:

- Prior experience managing a successful retirement village community or similar
- Ability to demonstrate successful relationships with residents, colleagues and other stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the importance of compliance with regulations and laws
- Excellent leadership skills adept at leading a small, dedicated team
- Ability to ensure correct administrative and legislative practices are followed
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, and experience managing resident's expectations

Your ability to bring the best out in your team will ensure orientations, inductions and performance reviews are positive experiences for all, and you will be able to work autonomously, being self-motivated to achieve KPIs. Your financial acumen will be essential in managing the annual village budget.

You will be willing to undertake a Police Check and given the vulnerability of our communities, be fully vaccinated against the flu and Covid-19.
