**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the husbandry areas, kennels complexes, dog run yards, veterinary room, food preparation room, and the utensils and storage area. Prepare food, feed all dogs, control feeding in accordance with authorised diets and ensure all dogs have a constant supply of water. Assist with arrangements for veterinary treatment and tests of all dogs. Assist with and perform dog husbandry duties including care and management of breeding dogs and puppies. Bathe and groom kennelled dogs on a regular basis or as required. Comply with the instructions of the Complex. Stocktake, manage and maintain adequate food, medication, chemicals and sundry equipment Maintain a register of all food, medication and equipment required. Grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, landscaping and whipper snipping.
