Fantastic permanent opportunity for a driven and motivated National Account Manager Foodservice to join the SunRice Group in Melbourne or Sydney. As a vital member of our sales team, you’ll play a central role in driving growth by managing Key Accounts, Distributors, and End Users to achieve sales and margin targets. You’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing team to drive exciting new product offerings for the channel and work alongside the Field Sales Manager to develop pricing strategies and planning recommendations that support business objectives.
This role also offers the opportunity to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, making a tangible impact on our market presence and long-term success.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Key Account Management**: manage the day to day requirements of existing Key Account customers: including targeting new customers (aligned to wider Foodservices strategy) and growing sales in existing customer base.
**New Business Development**: identify new customers aligned with the current Foodservice strategy, build and implement plans to grow SunRice market share.
**New Product Development (NPD)**: support the development of a robust pipeline of customer led ideas for new product development and collaborate with the marketing teams to ensure timely delivery.
**Reporting**: provide regular reporting updates to the management team, and work closely with sales teams to ensure they understand and support growth plans.
About You
You bring an entrepreneurial mindset backed by strong commercial acumen and sharp negotiation skills. Thriving in dynamic team environments, you naturally build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and across all levels of the business. Your ability to foster strong customer connections sets you apart.
**You will also have**:
Degree qualified in Business / Marketing related discipline.
Detailed understanding of the Foodservice industry, market dynamics / structure and the leading participants.
Demonstrate track record of sales success and growing customer base through acquisition of new customers/business.
Ability to identify new product opportunities and bring these to market, including previous exposure to NPD process with strong understanding of key elements required for successful product launches.
Experience managing field teams.
