**Echo Marine Group **is an Australian owned and operated company with over 10 years experience in the Marine Industry. We specialize in the manufacture of Luxury Superyachts, Commercial Workboats, and Refits and Maintenance on a range of vessels in the Superyacht, Workboat and Defence areas.

Currently we are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join our Fabrication Team So if you are looking for full time employment and meet the requirements of an Aluminum Fabricator we would love to hear from you

These roles will involve

**The Position**:

- Aluminum Fabrication
- Perform Sheet and Plate Assembly
- Reading and Interpretation of Technical Drawings and technical specifications for job tasks.
- Clean and preparing metal materials
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, machinery and heat treatments to cut, bend, shape and align metal parts.
- Join metals using various welding techniques according to company weld procedures and survey requirements.
- checking that welds meet class/survey standers, finishing the product using various cleaning and other techniques.
- Preparing materials for the job.
- observe welded surfaces and evaluate weld quality and conformance to weld specifications
- follow safe work practices.

**EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS**:
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following experience:

- Minimum 2 years Fabrication Experience
- Strong Aluminum Welding technical skills
- Familiar with both TIG & MIG welding processes.
- Broad Aluminum Product experience
- Boat Building Experience
- High attention to detail
- Reliable and Enthusiastic with strong work ethics
- Excellent problem solving capabilities
- Must own some basic Hand Tools
- Must be able to work in a team environment

**CULTURE & BENEFITS**:
In return for your extensive skills and experience, Echo Marine Group can offer an annual salary from $74,000 excluding Super and penalties over a four day week: Monday to Thursday, with potential for overtime.

Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
