Melbourne, Australia The Special Branch Arborist Full time

Small, family run business looking for a groundworker/labourer. Duties include (depending on skills/tickets) dragging and chipping green waste, tool maintenance, raking, trimming, digging, rigging/rope work, some ground chain sawing.

One fully qualified arborist (owner), an apprentice who will be qualified in 6months (brother) and an admin wife (me) make up the team and we need a keen groundworker to help with the workload. Easy going guys with a lot of experience. Tree lovers not loppers. We want to save trees not remove them.

2-3days a week available to begin with. Possibility to apprentice in arboriculture if interest is there. No experience required but a willingness to work as hard as the rest of the team.

Locations all around Melbourne but with most in the Melbourne’s eastern suburbs and northern suburbs eg Brighton, St. Kilda, Toorak, Hawthorn, Richmond, Kew areas as well as Fitzroy, Ascot Vale, Clifton Hill up to Northcote, Carlton and Preston areas. Meet on site and leave from there. If license is an issue we can meet at/leave from ‘depot’ (our home) and travel in the truck with boss daily.

Fairly flexible in most things. Just need an extra set of hands a few days a week.
