The is a temporary full-time vacancy for Semester 2, from 14 July 2025 until 12 December 2025 with possibility of extension. About the School Yugumbir State School, established in 1986, is a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Regents Park. About the Role As the Deputy Principal of Year 5 & 6, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students. Promote socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Engage in lifelong learning and professional development. Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, community groups. Be future-oriented and strategic. Understand policies and legislation affecting the department. Manage department resources to achieve goals. Deputise for the Principal when required. Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position. Interested?
