Tech Coordinator perm role in Wollongong. Would suit materials eng or someone with lab testing experience

**Your new company**
A leading manufacturing company based in the Illawarra has the immediate need for a Technical Coordinator. This role would suit someone with materials engineering or lab work background.

**Your new role**
- The Technical Coordinator is responsible for providing technical support to the sales, operations and other internal and external customers on products and/or processes.
- Develop quality specifications and standards to ensure all manufactured and purchased products, meet quality standards and are produced in accordance with specifications as well as assisting in the development of the company’s Quality Management System and the operation of the laboratory and product testing.
- Assist in the Quality Management System
- Conduct investigations and reports on internal and external non-conformance
- Conduct testing of products to guarantee all products meet the business’s requirements and specifications
- Conduct new and potential product testing, as required, in consultation with the marketing team.
- Provide technical support and advice on product use to internal / external customers and sales team

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree in Material Science, Engineering, Management or other relevant discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Other Relevant Qualifications and Skills
- Exposure to Product and Quality Certification and systems
- Auditing/training experience
- Position Competencies & Capabilities
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to plan effectively and have a personal commitment to deadlines
- Ability to think logically and laterally
- Strong problem solving skills
- Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Sound coaching skills
- Good attention to detail
