As Promotions Manager, you will work very closely with the Senior Promotions Manager to strengthen Heinemann Australia’s position in the market and establish productive relationships with Vendors and other Stakeholders in order to maximize the Advertisement & Promotions budget. You will guide, develop and execute promotional initiatives and in turn communicate our unique point of difference in the market. You will ensure efficient execution of in-store campaigns per brand based on the annual promotional plan and maintain good collaboration and communication with all parties involved. Your main target will be to achieve the yearly promotional rental income as defined in the Advertisement & Promotions plan and analyze promotional success.You will have a commercial focus that is routed in your ability to connect with people and in turn, build solid relationships with the aim of maximizing sales growth and customer loyalty.**Promotions Manager**

Your new job includes
- Lead, manage and develop a team of Promotions Officers across all categories.
- Develop a key understanding of retailer strategies in order to deliver successful campaigns.
- Negotiate, manage and execute the Promotional Calendar yearly across all categories and Airport locations.
- Deliver an exciting range of promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities and manage Vendor rebates.
- Manage Advertisement & Promotions investment and evaluation of marketing activities to ensure return on investment.
- Communication and coordination with multiple parties such as Vendors, Installers, Promotional Agencies, Contractors and Heinemann’s Departments (cross functional internal teams).
- Ongoing market research and review to define potential for specific marketing measures.
- Identifying category growth drivers in line with shopper and consumer insights.

What you should bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with an ability to lead and develop a team.
- Proven Stakeholder management capability and relationship building skills.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and analytical skills with a proven ability to build relationships and solve problems creatively, utilising sound judgment.
- Substantial and extensive experience in developing, reviewing and implementing promotional strategies, frameworks, processes, policies and procedures to meet strategic and operational objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, highly organized and proven success working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of MS-Office, in particular Excel. SAP knowledge and skills is preferential.
- A general interest and/or experience with the categories such as Liquor, Tobacco, Confectionary, Health & Wellbeing, Fine Food, Perfume & Cosmetics, Fashion & Accessories, is beneficial.
