The National Institute of Technology works with universities and higher education providers such as Murdoch University, Edith Cowan University, Southern Cross University, and Sheridan Institute of Higher Education to provide pathway programs to international and domestic students. We partner with the Australian Computer Society, Engineers Australia, and accounting bodies CP, CPA, and IPA to deliver Professional Year Programs.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our team is growing We are looking for an experienced ICT Trainer to assist in developing and delivering the VET courses. This position is for a passionate and motivated professional with demonstrated knowledge and skills in the following areas:

- Train and Assess students
- Establish and maintain a learning environment which promotes effective teaching and learning
- Plan, develop and maintain training

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify training needs for individuals and organizations to meet technical and ICT goals.
- Design and deliver training programs using methods like workshops, group sessions, and online tutorials.
- Create and update learning materials such as handbooks, visual aids, and online resources.
- Regularly assess and improve training programs based on feedback and evaluations.
- Work with external training providers to organize and promote specific programs.
- Stay updated on new technologies, software, and ICT industry trends.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Hold relevant industry certifications
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification
- Strong experience in training documentation or developing training content
- Hands-on experience via working on academic projects or working in the industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Either hold or willing to complete TAE40122 - Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- hold a current Working with Children Check (WWC);
- a valid National Police Clearance upon role commencement;
