Shampoo Cleaning of Carpets

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform thorough shampoo cleaning of carpets across a 2,600 m² facility, including high-traffic areas, offices, hallways, and common spaces.
- Inspect carpets to identify stains, damage, or specific cleaning requirements.
- Operate and maintain professional carpet cleaning equipment, such as shampooers, extractors, and vacuums, ensuring proper use and safety.
- Move and rearrange furniture as needed to access carpeted areas, ensuring mínimal disruption to the workspace.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently within the agreed timeframe while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and used cleaning materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with facility management to coordinate access, report progress, and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring no damage to the facility or its contents.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in carpet cleaning, preferably in large commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with operating carpet shampooing machines, hot water extraction systems, and other professional cleaning equipment.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift equipment, and move furniture as needed.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving excellent cleaning results.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong time-management skills.
- Background check may be required, depending on facility requirements.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in carpet cleaning or related field (e.g., IICRC certification).
- Experience cleaning large facilities (2,000 m² or more).

**Estimated Project Scope**:

- **Area**: 2,600 m² of carpeted flooring.
- **Duration**: Dependent on team size and equipment; approximately 2-5 days for a thorough deep clean (to be confirmed based on assessment).
- **Frequency**: One-time service

**Job Types**: Fixed term, Subcontract
Contract length: 6 days

Pay: $23.23 - $55.78 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
