Pump Assembler, Pool Division and Warehouse Assistant

Purpose of role This role contributes to the businesses success by acting as a Full Time Speck pump assembler and warehouse assistant performing tasks predominately, but not limited to, the assembly and testing of the company range of Speck pool pumps and products, being responsible for/assisting with warehouse duties and delivering excellent and consistent customer service

and always acting responsible and professional, in accordance with the businesses vision, mission and values.

Main duties and responsibilities Core objectives include:

- Preparing pump parts for production as per schedule set out by the Qld Production and Warehouse Supervisor, in conjunction with the National Operations & Qld Branch Manager
- Assembly and wet testing of Speck pool pumps
- Boxing and managing the QA checks of all Speck pool pumps assembled
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of freight deliveries and despatches
- Packaging of customer orders for despatch
- Assist with the management of pool pump stock, including manuals, labels; and advise management when stock requires replenishing
- Performing warehouse duties where required and requested

Qualifications - Forklift license essential

Experience - Highly desirable, but not essential, to have experience in pool pump assembly and/or repairs
- Warehouse experience preferred, specifically unloading and loading freight and handling stock

Business Execution KPI (where applicable)

Administration
- All paperwork related to your tasks must be submitted promptly and

accurately
- Report any technical or operational issues to the National Operations

Manager.
- Ensure paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately and neatly

Pump Production
- Prepare pump components as per production schedule provided by

the Qld Warehouse and Production Supervisor and working in

conjunction with other Pump Assembler/Warehouse personnel.
- Inscribe the manufacture month and year identification on each pump

housing (including your assembler identification)
- Complete assembly of pumps as per production schedule using

applicable tools and workspace, ensuring every pump is wet tested

and rectify any pump operational issues as and when encountered.
- Position each completed pump into cartons with applicable insert and

documentation.
- Ensure each carton is QC checked by a secondary team member

before securing box.
- Complete Pump Production Form accurately with quantity of pumps

assembled each day.
- Assemble pump union sets for sale and pump production
- Organise pump component stock within your area on a weekly basis.
- Ensure your pump production area is kept clean and tidy, production

tools are always kept safe and in excellent working order.
- Note changes to any pump Bill of Materials (BOM) and communicate

to the National Operations & Qld Branch Manager to ensure the

correct stock is allocated to the Production Order.
- Assist with other production functions within the Mansfield operation where required and requested.
- Maintain a steady and constant pump assembly line
- Every pump is tested prior to being boxed for sale
- Ensure stock of assembled pump union sets is always available.
- Ensure your work area is always kept clean and presentable at the end of each day.

Pump Repairs - Inspect any Speck Pumps returned for warranty repair as instructed by the Qld Warehouse and Production Supervisor
- Liaise with Qld Warehouse and Production Supervisor and National

Operations Manager on findings after inspection
- Liaise with the Qld W
