**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Cyber Security Analyst during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis has arrived By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with curiosity and optimism by assisting with cyber security risk assessments for the business, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As Cyber Security Analyst in our third-party assurance domain, you will join a high performing team to assist with third-party cyber security assessments that provide assurance over the complex vendor partner environment. Furthermore, you will deliver cyber security risk assessment reports that outline business context, assets at risk, threat community, description of identified risks aligned in IT risk categories (including cause factors and potential business impact) and more. You will also track the pipeline of third-party cyber security assessments to ensure efficient delivery of work.

**About you**
You will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You will have a willingness and commitment to adapt and learn, having solid communication skills on a verbal and written level to articulate technical information and partner with team members.

Understanding cyber security standards and best practices, you will have knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations affecting the Australian financial sector and other jurisdictions (i.e., APRA, Privacy Act, SOX, GDPR, Mandatory Breach Disclosure and NY DFS cyber security regulations), or hold the ability to grasp these regulations quickly.

Furthermore, you will understand asset-level controls and risk mitigation tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IAM or DDoS, that help assess the overall security posture of technical controls in the solution or business. Awareness of emerging technical technologies and their associated cyber security risks (i.e., eSign, Blockchain and cloud-based technologies) a plus, however not essential.
