**The Opportunity**:
Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as part of our team? The Material controller vacancy presents an opportunity to streamline project material management for a valued client. This role supports supply chain, engineering, QA, and construction teams by ensuring efficient material receipting, inspections, storage, consolidation, and issuance to site.

**In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to**:

- Own, with the assistance of IT and Supply Chain, the Configuring, implementation and manage the materials tracking / issuance IT (ERP) system
- Ensure that materials management functions in the ERP system can be effectively used - including receipting, over, short and damaged (OSD) reporting, picking lists, and logistics bookings.
- Working with the site construction teams, to understand material requests (picking orders) for construction work packs and ad-hoc site material requirements.
- Work Packs - Arrange with the Third-Party Warehouse Partner for materials to be picked, consolidated and packed into assigned work packs made ready at the warehouse for collection/shipping to site
- General equipment/material - Arrange with the Third-Party Warehouse Partner for materials to be picked, packed and made ready at the warehouse for collection/shipping to site.
- Book cargo slots/space with the Client for delivery to site, working with the schedule, Site Picking slips, work packs, and cost-effective planning.
- Manage the schedule and requirements of material preservation ensuring preservation activities are carried out according to manufacturers and Project’s preservation requirements.
- Continually improving planning, scheduling, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
