You will work closely with our head builder and head of sales, collaborating across projects from concept to construction. We are looking for someone who is proactive, solutions-focused, and ready to be part of a tight-knit team where your work truly makes an impact.
**About the Role**
We are seeking a capable and passionate Interior Designer with a strong interest in residential design and the technical ability to produce architectural-style drawings. You will guide clients through the design journey, develop concepts, prepare layouts, and produce documentation for residential renovations, extensions, and new builds.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Guide clients through the residential interior design process
- Develop layout concepts, mood boards, and assist with finishes and material selections
- Produce architectural-style drawings including floor plans, internal layouts, and elevations **(this is essential)**
- Prepare design documentation and client-facing visual presentations
- Work closely with the head builder and head of sales to align design with build feasibility
- Keep project files and communications organised using digital tools
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Qualification or experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field
- Proven ability to produce architectural drawings using SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
- Must be available to work in-office in Bayside, Melbourne
- Basic to good understanding of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot is a plus
**Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded but Not Essential)**
- Rendering ability using tools like SketchUp + Enscape, Lumion, or similar
- Graphic design skills for presentations, marketing, or digital content
- Experience creating or posting content on social media (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Graduate
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
