**About the Role**
Are you an experienced and passionate Enrolled Nurse looking for a fresh and rewarding challenge? Do you enjoy dynamic environments and have a keen interest in both healthcare and education? This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting the next generation of nurses.
The Gordon is currently seeking a dedicated, self-motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our Nursing teaching team as the Simulation Lab Technician. In this newly created role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our simulation and skills labs—creating a safe, realistic, and engaging space where our Diploma of Nursing students can thrive.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining our simulation and skills labs to ensure they meet safety, compliance, and current industry standards.
- Collaborating with educators to design immersive, real-world simulation experiences.
- Aligning lab activities with the latest Diploma of Nursing training package and ANMAC standards.
- Providing hands-on technical and clinical support during simulations and teaching sessions.
- Work with the TAFE network to enhance the community of practice to support best practices and lab learning experiences.
- Ensure purchasing and stock levels for the labs are maintained to a satisfactory level.

**About You**:
This is a unique opportunity to bring your clinical knowledge into an educational setting—contributing directly to the growth of our nurses of tomorrow. You will be able to demonstrate:
- A qualified Enrolled Nurse with current registration and industry currency.
- Nursing experience across multiple disciplinary areas (i.e. acute / subacute / geriatric).
- Experience in simulation lab management, stock management and lab practices desired but not essential.
- The ability to develop, establish and implement procedures and systems to ensure regulatory compliance and the efficient management of the Portfolio.
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to liaise with students, staff and external bodies.

**Salary Range**:
PACCT 4 - $68,392.00 - $74,345.00 + Superannuation p.a. (Pro-Rata)
