About the opportunity- Provide emotional, spiritual, and psychological support to residents, helping them cope with challenges of aging, loss, and health changes.- Act as a compassionate listener for residents, offering counseling and comfort during times of distress, loneliness, or grief.- Organize and lead religious services, prayers, or rituals tailored to the spiritual needs of residents, respecting their diverse beliefs.- Support residents and their families during end-of-life care, offering comfort, counseling, and spiritual care at this difficult time.- Work alongside other health care staff (nurses, doctors, social workers) to provide holistic care to residents.- Facilitate access to sacraments such as Holy Communion, Reconciliation, and Anointing of the Sick, ensuring residents can practice their faith regularly.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- A degree in theology, pastoral care, or a related field- Training in pastoral care, counseling, or spiritual guidance is important to offer effective emotional and spiritual support to residents.- Sensitivity to the diverse cultural backgrounds and spiritual beliefs of residents to ensure inclusive care.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- NDIS clearance- Valid work rights
