Mining Production Supervisor

A mining Supervisor that is experienced with man management and shift organisation. Engineering experience is a necessity.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong background in process operations and have held a previous leadership role in the mining industry.

**Key responsibilities;**
- Demonstrate personal leadership by meeting all safety policy and procedure requirements
- Role-model safe work practices and positive safety leadership to others in your job
- Demonstrate and promote behaviours that align to the Company Values
- Lead by example and carry out all work in a safe manner ensuring the safety and well-being of you, other employees, contractors and visitors
- Active contribution in meetings and planning discussions to improve hazard awareness and safety
- Ensure consistency in plant operation across shifts by following operational systems and procedures
- Liaise closely and regularly with different departments
- Communicate and execute daily and weekly production schedules to establish priorities, interactions and requirements within the team
- Provide assistance to the Production Superintendent
- Management of shift manning levels
- Ensuring effective housekeeping in the site
- Daily production reports as required
- Providing direction, mentoring and coaching to team members
- Maintaining effective communication lines with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Management of contractor workforce
- Seek and drive opportunities for continuous improvement across all aspects of work

**Key individual requirements;**
- Manual drivers license
- Qualification in Frontline Management (desirable)
- Several years' experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of Metals mining
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
- Manage a multi-disciplined team
- Proven knowledge and understanding of hazards working in a processing operation environment
- National Police clearance
