Deckhand

Work on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world, based in the iconic harbourside location of Rushcutters Bay, our yacht charter company is seeking a** General dockhand** to join our team.

**Tasks you will be expected to complete include, but are not limited to**:

- Washing/detailing interior and exterior of our fleet of yachts and motorboats to a high standard
- General day to day duties involved with a busy waterfront yacht charter company, including re-fuelling, filling water tanks, gas bottles, checking and replacing mooring lines on dock where necessary.
- Maintain workshop - keep clean and tidy.
- Vessel movements, docking and mooring boats.
- Charter briefings
- Deckhand onboard yachts or motor cruisers

**The successful applicant will possess the following**:

- A hard-working individual that is physically fit and will go above and beyond the required tasks.
- Punctual, reliable, and honest.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to follow directions and show initiative.
- Strong customer focus.
- A good team player.
- NSW Boat Licence required (training is available)
- Sailing experience highly regarded (able to dock and moor boats)

This is a casual position of approx 30 hours per week that may lead to more hours and potential permanent position after a successful trial period.

Hourly rate will be based on experience.
