Line Borer

We have multiple vacancies around Western Australia, in metro and regionally.

Position
This purpose of this position is to perform all line boring activities on all types of equipment required at a high level of quality and efficiency. These activities may take place in the workshop or in the field.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhering to the Quality Management System, by ensuring company compliance throughout all work scopes
- Ensure high quality of work is achieved and maintain according to IS0:9001
- Adhering to the Safety Management System, by ensuring company and statutory compliance
- Report to your supervisor on project status
- Develop a process and a culture that encourages improvements in the way work is done
- Provide a high standard of customer satisfaction through the execution and acceptance by the client of the final product
- Complete necessary job documentation, daily time and expense sheets etc, in accordance with company standards

Qualifications - Licences, Certificates & Competencies
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Trade Certification - Minimum Heavy Plant Mechanic, Fitter Machinist or Boilermaker
- Minimum MR License
- EWP Certificate
- Forklift ticket
- Working at Heights Certificate

Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Technical knowledge of the work being performed
- Experience in the Engineering and Resource sector
- Prior experience with earthmoving equipment and open cut mining desirable
- Thorough understanding of all metal fabrication equipment
