**Position Description**:
As a Distribution Officer you will play a crucial role in managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch functions within our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate receipt and verification of orders, maintaining high service standards for both internal and external customers, and driving continuous improvement processes throughout the warehouse operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, verify, and store orders accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Record all movements within the warehouse and promptly address any supplier, quality, or safety issues.
- Maintain consistently high service standards to meet customer requirements.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure data integrity and conduct on-time cycle counts.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with quality standards.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in distribution and warehousing preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with accountability for business results.
- Understanding of warehousing best practices and quality management.
- Knowledge of the medical equipment industry and hospital systems not essential but highly regarded
- Proficiency in computer skills, including JD Edwards and DClink modules not essential but highly regarded
- Familiarity with quality management techniques, particularly in ISO environments not essential but highly regarded
- Certificate in warehouse, logistics, or purchasing not essential but highly regarded
