**About the role**:
We're looking for a full-time Council Cleaner to join our team at Division 7, St Paul's. In this role you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Council Workplaces, accommodation, amenities and other Council facilities in a clean, tidy and useable condition.

**_ Key Tasks_**:

- To clean and maintain Council workplaces, amenities, and other council facilities in a clean, tidy, and useable condition.
- Sanitise and clean toilet facilities.
- Clean and sanitise sinks, refrigerators, and drinking fountains.
- Dust and clean desks, chairs, furniture, windows, and doorknobs.
- Clean facility entrances and control litter.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop all areas of the facilities.
- Clean glass surfaces, windows, doors, and partitions to ensure they are smear-free.
- Clean air-conditioning filters and fans regularly.

**_ General cleaning tasks will involve but not be limited to:_**
- Maintain inventory and stock of cleaning supplies.
- Cleaning windows, glass doors, pictures, doorknobs, glassware, wooden doors and cupboards etc.
- Cleaning sinks and drinking fountains.
- Sinks, showers, baths free of bacteria, soilage, staining and scale.
- Cleaning ceiling/wall fans and air-conditioning filters.
- Toilet holders clean and sanitised.
- Dusting high and low.
- All surfaces free from dust, bacteria and soilage.
- Rubbish containers to be emptied and sanitised.
- Fridges clean/sanitised and defrosted.
- Vacuuming - all floors free of visible dirt and debris.
- Static Mop - all floor surfaces free of dust and litter.
- Wet mop floor and skirtings to be free of soilage, bacteria, grease and marks.

**_ General Responsibilities_**
- Assist in setting up for community meetings and council functions.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and adhere to manufacturer guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on cleaning methods and safety procedures.
- Comply with Council's health, safety, and environmental policies.

**What We're Looking For**
- Minimum (1) year practical experience and/or knowledge in industrial cleaning procedures and techniques and materials used.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An open C class Queensland Drivers Licence would be highly desirable.
- Workplace Health and Safety and Chemical training is preferred but not essential.
