**Salary: $33.00- $40.00 p/h approx**

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced **female Support Worker** who is passionate about animals—especially dogs—and has the desire to provide exceptional care to a client who uses a wheelchair. If you are warm-hearted, patient, and committed to making a positive difference, we would love to have you join our team.

As a Support Worker, you will assist with daily tasks and provide both practical and emotional support to a lovely client, all while caring for their beloved pets. This is a rewarding role for someone who is looking for a fulfilling job where you can make a real impact in someone’s life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with mobility, including transfers, positioning, and using mobility aids.
- Help with light housekeeping duties, including meal prep, laundry, and shopping.
- Engage in social activities and outings, promoting a fun and active lifestyle.
- Provide care for the family’s dogs, including feeding, walking, and general pet care.
- Build a supportive, trusting relationship with the client, offering companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage independence and empower the client to participate in daily activities as much as possible.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Middle-aged female** with a genuine love for animals, particularly dogs.
- Experience in personal care or support work is preferred.
- Patient, kind, and understanding with a strong commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Ability to assist with personal care tasks and mobility.
- A positive attitude with a strong sense of empathy and respect for others.
- Good communication skills and the ability to form meaningful relationships.
- A willingness to be flexible, dependable, and proactive in your approach to the role.
- Any specific qualifications or certifications, e.g., first aid, CPR, WWCC etc.
- A valid driver’s license
