**PROGRAMMED specialise in the employment of apprentices and trainees. In partnership with Tweed Shire Council, Programmed have opportunities for apprenticeships commencing in January 2025.**

**APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES**:

- Electrical
- Fabrication Welding
- Parks and Gardens - Horticulturalist
- Mechanical Fitter
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanical
- Signs and Graphics
- Civil Construction

**PROGRAMMED are seeking applicants with**:

- competent numeracy & literacy skills
- a positive attitude and self-motivated
- current drivers licence and reliable transport
- completed Year 10 Education
- Electrical apprenticeship only - completed Year 12 and desirable to have completed a Cert II in Electrotechnology
- General Construction Induction (white card) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- a commitment to complete the apprenticeship, this includes a requirement to attend TAFE
- demonstrated capacity to work safely and as a team member

**WHAT'S ON OFFER**:

- obtain a nationally recognised Certificate III Trade Qualification
- paid full-time wages with annual leave, sick leave and public holiday pay
- on-the-job and nationally accredited training
- ongoing coaching, mentoring and support
- potential career in the industry

Prior to any offer of employment, the successful applicants will be required to attend a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.

**LOCATION**:
The positions can be directed to work anywhere within the Tweed Shire; however, they are currently based in Chinderah, Tweed Heads, Murwillumbah and Cabarita.
