**About the role**
We have a sweet opportunity for a Quality Officer to play an essential role in our team by driving continuous quality improvement and by ensuring that all Sanitation activities onsite meet recognised standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct pre-operative inspections and swabbing relevant to the Sanitation function.
- Support Quality activities including microbiology and audits.
- Maintain and update all relevant records and documentation
- Initiate and facilitate investigation and drive corrective actions and timely close out of incidents.
- Conduct periodic audits of the plant, equipment and parts to ensure the completion of sanitation activities.
- Active engagement as a food safety leader on site to mentor and coach team members across the business.
**About you**
- Degree qualification (Food Science or Food Technology preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and Sanitation practices
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to lead, coach and mentor in food safety disciplines
- Self-starter with hands-on approach & able to work autonomously and within a team environment.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
