**Job Description**:
News website WAtoday is looking for two reporters with at least 3 years’ experience working in newsrooms to join the team. We require news-breaking journalists who can write with authority across a range of topics. One will concentrate on crime and courts, while the other will write on a range of topics including business, politics and development.

The reporters will pitch stories for West Australian and national audiences to also be published in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Brisbane Times. The stories delivered will drive subscription growth across Nine’s mastheads.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract with a strong view to go permanent.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Relevant experience as a print or online reporter
- Proven track record of breaking stories, developing contacts
- A sound news judgement
- Ability to generate unique story ideas

**Desirable**
- Experience working in an online environment
