**About the team**:
The Merchandise team at Coles plays a critical role and pride themselves on building sustainable long term supplier relationships, developing new range offers and ideas, and working on convenient, healthy solutions.

You’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world. We’re passionate about working at the forefront of merchandising and making sure our customers have quality products at the right price.

**About the role**:
In this role you will work closely with and report to the Business Category Manager Bakery. The role will be responsible for the commercial delivery and Category Management of packaged bread, snacks, flatbread, and rolls. This is a critical role to the business, given the size of the portfolio and the importance to the customer weekly basket.

**About you and your skills**:
In this role you will be able to utilise your experience in understanding market share gaps and helping to develop and implement a market leading plan across this portfolio. Well-developed stakeholder management skills will be key to the success of this role.

You will also have:

- Demonstrated category management experience within a retail environment
- Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Creative style with the ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven retail environment
- Proven ability to champion and drive change
- Strong financial acumen within a highly commercial environment
- A performance driven nature and personality
- Strong team leading skills and able to motivate and train a team effectively
