MERCHANDISING AND TICKETING POSITION

Location: Toowoomba Toymate which is proudly Australian owned and operated since **2005**, Toymate has stores across NSW, QLD, WA and VIC, and plans to continually expand to share the love we have of toys.

Hours: Casual hour that will vary week to week. This will increase during the peak trading times and you will be required to run night fill teams as well.

**Job Description**:
Selling & Customer Service - Feedback received from customers both negative and positive.
- Strict adherence to 3m rule customer service culture.
- Uniform standards are upheld as per Toymate policy.
- Shop floor is customer friendly including clear aisles, no rubbish and people are available to serve.
- Register use
- May be required to run days and open and close the store.
Merchandising - Toymate merchandising standards are upheld as per the Toymate Visual Merchandising Guide.
- Ticketing and signage standards are upheld as per the Toymate Visual Merchandising Guide.
- All stock is on show and available to customers.
- Storeroom is neat, tidy and organized. Stock is being split and separated by brand/department/category so to locate stock easily. Loads are processed in a timely manner and stock is up to date regularly. Excess is stored is an orderly fashion.
- Shopping trolleys are not being used in the storeroom. Damaged goods and rubbish is being removed from store room regularly.
- Loss Prevention procedures are being followed. Shrink is being minimized via control of entry/exit, staff bag checks, stocktake results, writing off damaged goods.
- Merchandising Audit Results Ticketing
- Ensure that ticketing and signage standards are upheld as per the Toymate Visual Merchandising Guide.
- Responsible for all markdown/markup task and that they are efficiently carried out on the designated days or as instructed by the store manager.
- Report any non-scanning item or suspected products with the wrong price.
- Replace damaged or identified wrong price labels.
- Manage wrong price labels to minimise price changes at the registers and thus maximising profit.

- Complimentary signages are void of false advertising (e.g., not using red sale signage with a nonsale/regular price ticket).

**Salary**: $15,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
